Ludwig von Mises is a hero. His understanding of human action and the stress he placed on its importance to literally everything was fundamental in transforming our understanding of economics and sociology. Praxeology is the bedrock. His study of economics via logical deduction from the simple premise that human beings act to achieve certain goals proved, without doubt, that socialism was absolutely awful.

Yes, exactly. The market is about so much more than just money money money. The market is all human activity combined, and we aren't robots who act according to economic theory. Praxeology is one of the most important aspects of economics.

Speaking of human action, and I know this is kind of off-topic, but I got a guy telling me yesterday that negative externalities are aggression. As in all negative externalities.
Apparently, it's aggression if, given we're neighbors and you hate the color neon green, I were to paint my house neon green.
Well that sounds like complete BS. Of course not all externalities are aggression.
