I listened to an interview the other day on Mike Bluehair’s channel called Strategic Non-Compliance; where they interviewed a colorful actor named Felipe Hemming.

I had hopes that his interview with Felipe Hemming would extend back in time to the first videographer to piss off a government agent. Gus Conner of Miami FLA.

Felipe was a cohort of Gus and the Gang. I’m sure he has some good stories about those days, but the nexus is the VHS video tape recorder Gus bought to archive and have proof of safety compliance that back-fired.

The article linked below, tells the story about how the Airline’s Owner Gus Was maliciously prosecuted by the FAA because he often pissed them off by exercising his 1st Amendment right to video tape their inspections of his airplanes.

They put him out of business under the guise of safety violations but really because he pissed them off back when VHS Video Tape recorders was first invented.
