A dozen reasons why people are addicted to statism

Defining terms:

Statism: the supersitious belief, or practice, of giving a centralized authority the jurisdiction to arbitrarily control the economic, and or social policies, within the imaginary borders of a geographical location.

Statist: a persom who believes in, or practices, statism

Paternalism: the policy or practice on the part of people in positions of authority of restricting the freedom and responsibilities of those subordinate to them in the subordinates' supposed best interest.

Authoritarianism: principle of blind submission to authority, as opposed to individual freedom of thought and action.

Indoctrination: the act of teaching acceptance to a set of beliefs uncritically.

Reasons that statist are addicted to statism:

1.) It gives them somebody to point their finger at, or somebody to blame.

2.) The illusion of it easing the burden of personal responsibility.

3.) Subconsciously, statism is akin to the paternalism and or authoritarianism often experienced as a child. Statism starts at home, so statism feels like home; to the delusional.

4.) They were taught to through authoritarian indoctrination at public schools utilizing the prussian model.

5.) It can give a false sense of participating in positive change(s).

6.) It's a widely acceptable way to impose your will onto somebody else and or groups of people.

7.) It's cool being on the band wagon and fitting in with general consensus.

8.) Propaganda, misinformation & main stream media.

9.) False sense of security.

10.) False sense of being charitable.

11.) False sense of unity through nationalism and or patriotism. (Actually causes division)

12.) They know of no other alternative because it is all that they've ever known, and have been conditioned to believe that anarchy is chaos and violent.
