In our Spiritual work we follow a Shamanic path which stresses independence and liberation; basically the following of your own Inner Guide. But I never related that to Anarchism until just now. The path of the Shaman is one of freedom from Church authority, which has been seen as threatening to religious leaders of all times and places, leading to persecution as you have mentioned. Fortunately we are not yet experiencing persecution. We are just being politely ignored for the most part. :-)
