We definitely need to pay attention to the ecological problem. We need Pigouvian taxes and Cap & Trade to prevent environmental destruction. Also, we need to recycle/reuse. We keep junking and throwing away old phones, old computers, and old cars. If modern tech will be sustainable, we need to start reusing and recycling, rather than junking stuff. Also, we need to move to more sustainable energy sources. Tech isn't the problem. The problem is just the way we are currently doing it. Also, quantum computing is opening up new possibilities.
