Anarchapulco is Amazing, Don't Know Any Voluntarists Locally in Columbus Ohio, but Great to Finally Meet Others And Know Not Alone

in #anarchapulco7 years ago

Yo yo people. Great being here in Mexico, what a paradise, if and when I get some dough probably gonna move down here for the winter and get out of terrible Ohio until spring. But gonna be busy in Ohio this year, but hopefully this is the last winter I spend there.

Anywho I became a minarchist around 2012 when on the basis of the evidence as a consequentialist utilitarian it seems undeniable that free markets tend to be much more likely to realize optimum levels of production than centralized control interfering with prices and liberty. I am slowly becoming a anarchist/voluntarist. I totally support voluntarism and contend it is totally possible. I just think pragmatically there may end up being a transition from the leviathan we have now to minarchy before eliminating insane institutionalized state violence and realizing a free society not premised upon coercion.

Unfortunately, where I live in Columbus I have yet to meet people who identify as voluntarist. Some of my buddies may be voluntarist but they dont really care about economics or political philosophy, so they seem to be more just apathetic and disengaged. I was involved with the local libertarians for a while but became disillusioned when they started endorsing Republicans that refused to event state whether that thought 1. Taxation is theft, and 2. whether they supported the drug war. Additionally, they were against sancutary cities. Now sure one may be able to make a minarchist case for borders, but forcing local police to enforce federal immigration laws just seemed to cross a line for me. Seems the whole argument for coopting local police into ss type ship would be economies of scale, but seems the best economy of scale would be global with no borders.

Got some cool videos today will post soon but wanted to get a post done before the day ends. It is nice to know that there are more people who see the moral bankrupcy of our society and realize that deontology is important--and perhaps the only true utilitarianism--it seems even John Rawls and John Stuart Mills supported some level of rights, which the current state of affairs where we are all just government chattel may be incompatible with.

It is nice to know there are more rational people in the world even if I dont know the ones in Columbus. Have met some cool people in Ohio which is great and some cool Steemians. It is truly inspiring Anarchapulco keeps growing. If trends continue I think we may realize a free society very soon and hopefully within all our lifetimes.

These photos are amazing and from pixabay, hope to get some photos of the mountains and beach tomorrow. I forgot to add since was rushing to meet EST midnight deadline so I can get the post everyday for a month award I want for some reason how amazing the speakers were today. Really enjoyed the speeches from Dan Dicks, Luke Rudkowski, Carey Wedler, Ben Swann, Benny Wills and Jeffery Tucker. I cannot imagine how much nicer a society we would have if and when these people are the mainstream, seems like it is moving that way.

Super excited for the discussion between Adam Kokesh and Cynthia Mckinney.
