Discord is an unsecure platform..or at least the Android app was full of info stealing-mic & videocam accessing -spyware***be Aware friends..(Minds.com) ?
software permissions to use functions within an app does not equal spyware, you can also manage those same permissions after the install, so that if you do not want to use voice chat or video chat, they can be turned off.
