Decrease of Population Growth of Bangladesh

When I was young, we used to be asked to write essays on "Population explosion of Bangladesh" as my country is one of the most populated one. However, recent years, due to mass consciousness, the population growth has been decreasing. Was just interested in seeing the effect. So, just plotted few data points from University of Gronizen Bangladesh population data. As it can be observed, the slope has changed around 2005-06. Around the time, I have left Bangladesh. Given what was the rate before, Bangladesh would have around 180 million people where as due to the decrease in population growth, it's around 159 million.
