Learning something new stimulates the brain and keeps us from developing nasty things like Alzheimer's disease. It keeps us young to learn new things. The day you stop learning is the day you die.
Oh really? That is fantastic, and I love that there are side benefits to learning! I think even if learning made me crazy I would keep doing it, but now I can tell people that learning is making me less crazy!
