This is very interesting... I don't really agree with it but it is interesting to think about. Specifically your last statement about the bible can't be taken literal... if it can't be taken literal it shouldn't be used at all because in it's text it specifically claims it is literal on many occasions... so, either it is what it claims to be or it is a giant book of lies and crazy people...
