FATF standard on Crypto Laundering expected
Financial Action Task Force, an intergovernmental body formed to fight money laundering and terrorist financing is planning to develop binding rules on the Anti Money Laundering for the world's cryptocurrency exchanges, and the agency would step up its scrutiny effort over crypto money laundering.
Currently the Crypto exchanges have minimal requirements to track the money laundering as many of them complete the Know Your Process based on online checks only.
