I don't worship heroes, and have yet to meet a perfect person, but stumbled upon this photo, and gotta just say, I like it.
Jimmy is on his way out, and Willie probably isn't all that far behind. Neither am I.
But, to my mind at least, Jimmy Carter got a bum rap while POTUS, and actually went out and hammered nails and climbed scaffolding to build houses for the poor for decades after.

No matter, this man lived the best life he knew how to, and kuddos to him for that.
