Ban on Kinder Surprise Eggs Should Have Been Lifted Before Considering Lifting Ban on Trophy Elephants!
While Canadian Kids have been enjoying the tasty kinder surprise chocolate treats with a toy inside for over twenty years, American kids have been deprived, until now when they are going to be able to have a modified version, which is like a pudding with a spoon.
The prohibition of this tasty Italian chocolate and toy combo doesn't seem fair to the children of Americans to the south of the border. Some sympathetic parents took to smuggling them across the border, to the tune of 60,000 Kinder Surprise Eggs in one year alone that were confiscated at the US border.

To not consider lifting the ban on Kinder surprise, and to consider lifting the ban on trophy elephants??? What is that??? Kids across the country must be enraged!!
To me, it's akin to finding a surprise in a Cracker Jack box that we enjoyed in the 1960s and 1970s as kids, except the surprise is found inside of an Italian chocolate egg which is quite delicious. We even have Kinder surprise advent calendars for sale here.
Our mom's used to bake quarters and dimes and nickels into our birthday cakes, and if you were lucky enough to get 2 bits in your mouth at a birthday party every one cheered for you. Those were the days my friend!!! Choking hazards aside.
Nobody makes a big deal about them, but apparently in America they don't comply with FDA regulations, because they claim the toy is "embedded" in the food. It is not exactly embedded however, because the toy is enclosed in a little plastic bag inside the chocolate egg, and often comes with a paper giving assembly instructions.
They were a favorite in goodie bags when my sons had birthday parties, as the chocolate was much better quality than an average dairy milk and the toy made it fun.

They are though, but I guess it depends on the term embedded. They are put inside the cake randomly and the person that finds it has to buy next years king cake. They are a definite choking hazard and some are sold without them for that very reason.

Kids here love love love the experience of finding a toy inside, no matter how simple the toy may be (amd overpriced too). All kids should be able to have the option to experience this.

You see Americans are dumb and they will choke and die on the plastic toys 😝 I think it's more they're so litigious ppl will pretend to choke on them to sue the company. They break into two even halves so I don't think there's any real risk involved? The chocolate is delightful, so creamy and delicious! They're not cheap though for all u get. The trophy ban being lifted is complete horseshit. I don't get how there's any sport in hunting a creature that large or why someone would want a trophy from it? Ppl are barbaric tho.. I only believe in hunting for food, if you're going to eat the animal than that's fine but to kill just to kill and call it a sport is pretty lame imo.
Privatizing big game hunting in Africa is one of the largest economies for some of those local communities and has actually helped prevent poaching. When the people that live in the area depend on these animals for the income they are much more likely to protect them from outside threats.
With that said I don't agree with hunting elephants either as I don't see the sport, but the ban that was lifted was only in 2 African countries. People from the US could hunt elephants in literally any other place except those 2 countries. The only reason it was banned in those two countries is those 2 countries weren't complying with some governmental agency wildlife thing here in the US. This ban lifting wasn't fake news, but it was definitely sensationalized news.

I think with improvements in technology they will diversify their economy in the future.

I think more kids are injured from eating Tide Pods. Maybe it is the litigation. I swallowed a penny when I was a kid. You can't keep money away from kids!
