Penny-Spend Attack
Penny-spend attack is when an attacker sends a large number of transactions to the same node, to use up that node's storage resources, and cannot handle other transactions (DDOS). This kind of attack is similar to the dust attack, with different attacks on the same node. However, similar to the dust attack, the attacker's cost is great. And from Ambr's design patterns, users do not need to care about the history of transactions, because the balance will change with the transaction. Therefore, the node can choose to delete some historical records to free up resources, making that the attacking cost too high to be worth the results.
