IooN - Cosmic Downtempo is the multi-
faceted Ambient/Psychedelic musical form of expression of Jonny Galluccio;a very free an d barefooted soul landed from outer space in 1983.
IooN's music is a slow paced progression of soulful melodies juxtaposed with deep ambient textures and ethereal atmospheres either synthesised and acoustic derived, to help shift the listeners deeply in contact whit their inner soul.

All is due to party experiences,that’s why you will not read another “he started making music at the age of 5”. From 2000 on, as a heavy partygoer IooN got so fascinated by the Chill Out side of events, because this kind of music has the heaviest load of mysticism and can shift your brain perception to experience a dreamy trancey state in a different way than average psytrance. While completing his studies as a Live Audio Engineer he heard a call from within,so he started crafting his very-own form of music,a deep tribal experience, evocation of feelings that took a definite shape into “The IooNfinite Loop EP”released in winter 2013 into Ektoplazm with Psyderweb Records (NL).
Early on in his career IooN was influenced by a conspicuous amounts of different music and musicians spanning from concrete musique to 90s electronica to blues and many more.
In the summer of 2012 IooN began exposing his art to the public, from open-air parties in Italy to european festivals including Antaris Projekt (D) and Tranceadventure 2012 The Beginning (SL).
After many summer open-air parties in which IooN's very live sound was featured as opening act, the contiguous collaboration between IooN, the Euidamonia Psy crew and his fellows led to the opening of a stable, reliable Chill-Out area even in the one night events in Milan. In late 2013 IooN started featuring mixes and djsets on the digital channels Electroshpere Radio, Psyradio.com-ua and DI.FM to form a series of mixes broadcasted from 2014 to present.
In 2014 IooN started collaborating with Spirited Records©/New Heart Music,label which promote the use of different tunings from A440 such as A444 into music, so in July 2014 IooN released "Times Of Peace EP" with Spirited Records [http://spiritedrecords.bandcamp.com/album/times-of-peace-2]
as the new blueprint for IooN's signature sound, mystic, loud, cheerful, uplifting, which also featured vocals from the spirituaist Teal Swan.
The summer 2014 brought IooN to many open air events and festivals, such as BlackMoon[IT], Antaris [D] and Human Evolution[IT].
In 2015 IooN released his first, full length Album with the russian label Mystic Sound Records, "93:14 O’Clock”

IooN featured all the main psychedelic festivals in Italy such as WAO Festival 2016 :: VISIONARY ECOTECTURE GATHERING., BLACKMOON FESTIVAL - Ritorno alle origini , HUMAN EVOLUTION FESTIVAL 2016 -- 5 Years Celebration -- GROW LIKE A PLANT introducing his first totally ambient live set, and the new (live) psytrance side project Opal Moon(https://soundcloud.com/opalmoonproject) which was well appreciated by the crowds.

In late 2015/2016 IooN started travelling to south east Asia, a particularly relevant experience which led him to Thailand as well, where he played for Acid Moon©, Ban Sabaii©, Shiva Moon and expanding his sound palette further more, with eastern influences and extensive field recordings captured in Malaysia’s islands and towns. In 2016, the second edition of the charity release for rumanian orphans "Ancestral Lullabies Vol.1 / Vol.2” featured tracks from IooN alongside Entheogenic, Ancient Core (which also complied the VA)

Also in late 2015 a very particular track from IooN was included in the VA “Deprogrammed” by Samana Records© compiled by Sanathana. A new collaboration between IooN-Cosmic Downtempo and AstroPilot Music started to take form in october 2016 and led to the release of multiple musical gems in VA such as Colours II Ice and Colours II Fire with a new classy sound and , including top notch videos deeply intertwined with music (

) ,and a full lenght deep-ambient album “Masters of the Universe” which was released in late February 2017.
In summer 2017 IooN began building a very extended 8 hours particular ambient liveset, L ive Sleeping Soundscapes, a live played 8 hours long performance of soothing, meditative ambient music live played set with synthesizers, effects,keyboards and analog mixers, de
signed to favour mental floatations and trance-
like states of mind, (which can simultaneously induce relaxation and widened perceptions)
