Amazon works for/has a contract with folks who are desperately looking for a reason to round people up that just might be plausible to the general public so people don't know what's going on until it's too late. The news will just say how wonderful the tech is and say its a good thing 1000s of "dangerous criminals" have been arrested because of it. Just saying.
