Sometimes giving up something in the short-term can yield a big reward in the long-term. That’s the idea behind many of Amazon’s businesses, and that’s particularly true of the recent Whole Foods deal.

I think that it will be a rough road for Amazon. I am guessing Whole Food's vendors will get significant pressure to lower prices, which could lead to other problems. As far as my grocery experience lately, my money is on ALDI's.
