Hello community of steemit I am @ yoko1 and I bring you the publication about the most beautiful places in the world, I hope and like it

Machu Picchu

The sacred city of Machu Picchu, considered one of the ten wonders of the world, was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1983. The citadel was discovered by Hiram Bingham in 1911 and is located on a granite mountain, about 130 kilometers away. from the city of Cusco.

Mezquita Sheikh Zayed

The third largest mosque in the world and the largest in the Arab Emirates is a spectacular and absolutely recommendable place for tourists. Built in honor of the first president of the country, the Sheikh Zayed Mosque stands out for the height of its four minarets, which reach 107 meters, and for its columns - it has 1048 on the outside and 96 inside. Another aspect that attracts attention is its decoration with precious stones and other delicate ornaments.

Angkor Wat, Siem Reap

The temple of Angkor Wat is considered the largest religious building ever made. Located in the province of Siem Reap, in Cambodia, it is one of the integral parts of a vast complex of temples built in the area of Angkor, which in its day was the capital of the Khmer Empire. The work, dating from the twelfth century, is listed as a World Heritage Site by Unesco since 1992.

Basílica de San Pedro

The fourth must-see in the opinion of travelers on TripAdvisor is the basilica of St. Peter's Vatican, one of the most sacred corners of Catholicism. Built between 1506 and 1626 on the place where it is believed that the remains of the apostle are buried, it hosts the most multitudinous acts that take place in Rome. Although it is not the most important temple in the city, it has a spectacular dome that has served as inspiration for other great works.

Taj Mahal, Agra

There are many who affirm that the Taj Mahal is the most beautiful building in the world. And this historical jewel, the fruit of love, is a large white marble mausoleum built by the Mongol emperor Shah Jahan in honor of his favorite wife who died during the delivery of one of his children. The work, considered a World Heritage Site by Unesco, was built between 1631 and 1654 in the Indian city of Agra.
