TURNING SEEDS INTO STEEM VIA THE HOMESTEADER'S CO-OP

We just blew past $1K gross!

This has been a fantastic adventure as we began to focus a bit on online sales this year. It was a pipe dream for several years, but until the @homesteaderscoop was created, it remained only a dream. As of January 1st this year, we opened shop via the Homesteader's Co-op, and it's been a fantastic adventure.

NEW MILESTONE FOR OUR HOMESTEADER'S CO-OP STORE

Today, we hit a new milestone. Yesterday we were $5 USD away from hitting $1K gross in sales, and now we've made it past that milestone! We are so grateful to @sagescrub for spearheading the creation of the Homesteader's Co-op and to everyone else who's played a role in making it a reality, and a success.

The three Sunchoke orders that rolled in pushed us over the 1K threshold, and we are blown away. For us, to find creative ways to generate some sort of income from home is a goal, and selling extra garden seeds, crafts, and other things online is an excellent way to do so!

After harvesting 100 pounds of sunchokes from a 25 sq. ft. raised bed, we realized that we definitely had enough to share and many people had been asking us to list some of the tubers so they could pick some up. Last night we finally got them listed, and the interest is showing in the orders coming in.

We chose to use the family image that @rigaronib made for us as our profile pic, and we are so glad to still be using it. Like many people out there, I'm not exactly talented in everything, so to have others take their skills and use them to bless our family is amazing, like @rigaronib did with that image.

That's just a sampling of some of the items that we have available in our Homesteader's Co-op store. To be able to not only accept USD but also STEEM & SBD gives us a great opportunity, and it also allows people the potential to spend their SBD & STEEM. Also, a lot of other fantastic vendors have many other things available, and the whole site is amazing.

Those are a just a couple of other items that we offer. I really like the professional website that they made, and appreciate the opportunity that it provides not only vendors, but also the customers.
