I never got to understand the concept of Antonyms until my later years in basic school.
We called it Words& Opposite.
To me it used to be
Boy-Girl
Man-Woman
Stand-Sit

But later I got to understand that there is more to synonyms than basic school knowledge.
How you can Love and Hate someone at the same time
How you can Laugh and Cry almost immediately
How you can Want something and not want it at the instance.

Yes, I have come to understand that the concept of Antonyms is neither indecision or differences but it's simply STANDARD.
Black and White are sometimes grey, doesn't stop them from being Black or White, it's just an expression of the Standard.
Light wouldn't be in a competition with darkness if the standard had not been set.

Nice and Rude are just two synonymous words of difference and standards.
Highs and Lows are just victims of length.

It wouldn't be Hate if it hadn't met Love.
It wouldn't be Tears if it hadn't felt Laughter.
It wouldn't be rejection if there had be no hope of acceptance.
It wouldn't be freedom if there had been no option of chains.

It wouldn't be opposite if there was no standard for it's word.
It wouldn't be opposite if it didn't have to compete with the word.
It wouldn't be opposite if it didn't know it was unequal.
