But hey, the positive way to look at it is.....We can only go up from here :)

I'm o.k. with seas of red and we're lucky because we're getting our new coins at a discount so as February gets started let's dive in and take a look at the next 5 coins in our HODL challenge...

Scary thought but we actually did some research to choose these coins. Not saying we did huge 'technical analysis' on them but we did follow them over the past few weeks and feel pretty confident in the roadmap for each coin / token.

Ox (ZRX)

There's been plenty of drama over the past few weeks with stories of certain crypto exchanges being shut down or investigated by local governments, Ox (ZRX) is a decentralized exchange with a big big upside...It's focus is on ERC 20 tokens. Everyone is saying that the flippening (Ethereum taking over Bitcoin in the markets) is near and 2018 is going to be a big year for Ethereum based projects....So Ox Project just made sense. We grabbed 10 tokens at $1.70 each.

IOS Token (IOST)

I have to admit it, this got on my radar because of the promotion they were doing last week where they were air dropping tokens for people that promoted their giveaway. So out of the 5 coins we chose, this was the shot in the dark. But people seem to think this one has some legs. We'll see. LOL This can NEVER be considered financial advice because well, I'm winging this lol Bought a whopping 400 tokens at 5 cents each.

Ethos (BQX)

O.K., back to the coins that I actually investigated fully. I think 20128 should be a great year for Ethos. Their team and their vision for this wallet / social network is fascinating. A few of the 'experts' I follow on social media think Ethos is going to have a huge year. We shall see how they do in February lol We bought 5 tokens at $4.54 each.

ETH Lend (LEND)

It's Bitconnect V 2.0!!! Nope, it's a lending platform for sure but without the 'suspect' affiliate program. Eth Lend is a pretty cool idea. Giving loans to people and markets that are denied by traditional lending companies by using smart contracts. This kind of technology is fascinating to me and I look forward to seeing what ETH Lend brings to the market. Bought 150 of LEND at $0.13 each.

Basic Attention Token (BAT)

The Brave Browser is an interesting concept. Ad free internet browsing that is safe and secure. man oh man, where was this technology a decade ago when I needed it LOL Really cool concept in the marketing space that provides 'attention' to various advertising on their platform. Really cool tech and something that the advertising world may adopt in a big way. Bought 40 tokens at $0.50 each.

Total Spend on all 5 tokens was $99.20 which is under our $100 limit.

Now of course, as soon as we bought these coins and tokens another dip followed LOL So we're already down and it's only about 12 hours into the month....But I feel pretty confident in not only the rebounds that may happen but these coins and tokens on a larger scale.

But then again, it can all go to zero LOL

So here we go...Another month, and another round of HODL'ing!
