TRADING ALT COINS - LET'S TALK ABOUT UNISWAP

While you may feel comfortable using centralized exchanges to buy and sell large market cap coins like Bitcoin, Ether, ...etc.

What about those obscure, small coins that are hard to find, aren't listed on many exchanges, etc...

UniSwap basically has it all. It's easy to use and all you need to do is connect your wallet like MetaMask or CoinBase Wallet, etc.

You can find gems before most will have access to them on the bigger exchanges, which could mean very big gains for you if the project gets attention and picks up steam.

Just note, you may not have much liquidity so you might find yourself paying a lot more just to get access - you may have to increase your "slippage" just to get the trade to go through. Not to mention, whatever the Ethereum gas fees are at the moment for your transaction.

So, for smaller investors, these initial fees may add up quickly, but in the end these fees may be a smaller price to pay if you ride your coin to a 10x, 50x or beyond.

Uniswap is the largest decentralized exchange, so it has truly changed the game and its overall volume now rivals the like of the top centralized exchanges like Binance and CoinBase, so Uniswap is a force to be reckoned with.

Before I end this post, I'll briefly talk about "alt season".
In historical cycles, bitcoin leads. Followed by the bigger coins (like top 10, top 50, as listed on CoinMarketCap).
And, when btc seems to burnout temporarily (trade sideways for a few days or weeks or even months)---it's then, that we usually see the liquidity from the larger coins trickle down to these "alt coins" - when this happens, many of the alt coin gems that you could find on Uniswap have the potential to skyrocket. The gains from alt coins can be VERY significant if you choose the right ones - we are talking 50x, 100x, maybe even 1000x. However, they can also be much more volatile and risky too.

You are not likely to get a 100x on bitcoin or ethereum this cycle (although anything is possible). But, getting 100x on certain altcoins can happen (especially if you get in early with a good entry point and take profits before the market meltdown).
