Doge the Underdog
What is Doge?
Im not quite sure.
"Introduced as a "joke currency" on 8 December 2013, Dogecoin quickly developed its own online community and reached a capitalization of US$60 million in January 2014"

"A Bitcoin clone that has reached success through clever marketing. Over the past year well over a hundred new cryptocurrencies have been created but not many have instantly carved out a niche. Dogecoin has sponsored multiple high profile events such as Nascar teams and the winter olympics - even so there are few locations to use the coin - and instead it has become a de facto internet tipping currency. The coin has produced 100 billion units by the end of 2014 and is now producing roughly 5 billion units per year."
Will Dogecoin see its day?
All Dogecoin addresses are public key hashes. Unlike bitcoin addresses, which are 27 to 33 characters long, Dogecoin addresses are a string of 34 numbers and letters (both upper and lower case), starting with the letter D. A public key is the Dogecoin address to which other users can send Dogecoins. A private key, however, allows full access to the Dogecoin wallet; it must be kept secret and secure.
Dogecoin holds the record for most transactions per day for any cryptocurrency, peaking at 2.5 times more transactions than all other cryptocurrencies combined in December 2013.

Dogecoin transactions take about 1 minute versus bitocin's ~ 1 hour.
Dogecoin has a mascot :D (and the best community on Reddit)
Dogecoin is still relatively easy to mine. (No scrypt ASICs yet)
Dogecoin is going TO THE MOON!
There will be 100 Billion Dogecoin vs Bitcoins 12 mil, making it better for smaller transactions.
