Crypto-mastering: Beginner's guide collection
In this article I'll expand my previous trading guide with some referrals and guides that can help you understand the basic principles of the blockchain environment. As I won't steal other writer's content, I'll just provide some links and tldr. My aim is for you, the reader who's interested in crypto, to fully understand the fundamentals.
Let's start with a good introductory video
To fully understand why the crypto-business is so profitable, you must know the technology behind it. Many news articles tried to explain this but ended up in writing a summary on bitcoin. For a good non-technical read I suggest reading the following paper: [https://hackernoon.com/wtf-is-the-blockchain-1da89ba19348]
Now you have some knowledge of what blockchains has to offer, we can now dive deeper into our primary subjective: cryptocurrencies. A cryptocurrency is a digital asset that is blockchain based. However there are thousands of different currencies to invest in, each with a different goal and implementation. A somewhat more technical explanation with good visual backing was given by the following video:

There are many ideas that can be made using blockchain technology, some of them are great, others are lesser so. It is your choice in which coins to invest, of course, some research is necessary. Luckily, there is a whole community of pro-traders and experienced investors who can stimulate the right choices.
If you're interested in investing you should read one of the best beginners guides out there: [https://medium.com/@nellsonx/how-to-properly-invest-in-bitcoin-blockchain-and-other-cryptocurrencies-in-2017-32d59e2ff435]
My tips for future investors
- Invest only in what you know, invest only what you can afford to lose, and don’t invest only because others invest in it too.
- Do some research which coins are forecasted to grow in 2018, sites that can help you are Steemit, Reddit, Cointelegraph, Tradingview ... (+ ask members). Read the white paper, examine the team members (do they have a good technical background etc).
- Make an account on an exchange like Bittrex, Bitfinex, Kraken and deposit your fiat or bought BTC/ETH (f.e. Btcdirect)
- HODL and do only sell when you’re ending up losing (significantly) more then you had put in
I appreciate all forms of feedback as this is the beginning of my content-creator career. All support will go to my STEEM power as this will help my account grow so I have incentive to continue creating interesting and useful articles!
