The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
So why would you invest in a such a volatile market? Most people will suggest 'Greed!' or a 'Gambling issue'! but the truth of the matter is that the stakes aren't nearly as high as People think..

There are some key signs that a Crypto is bad news:
For example if their Marketing Strategy is based on Bitcoin or if they try to incorporate Bitcoin into their pitch. These coins are typically just a Generic version of Bitcoin with nothing special to offer. These Coins & Tokens have the shortest life of all and only lasts for maybe for one 'bubble' and once it pops its gone.

Empty Promises
'We'll give you this after only two years!'. The stock Exchange wasn't built over night. Any company that states that they fully understand the Crypto Market is either lying or just plain stupid. Digital Currency is not the same as stocks, it will take Years and years before someone can accurately predict how a Crypto will do in terms of financial gain. Any Coin that is saying that they can is lying to you or are Ignorant enough to believe that they that the Crypto Market is the same as Stocks, either way you should avoid them.

Just whitepaper
'I'm going to start a Crypto which is going to send homeless people to Mars, Where I have built houses made out of sticks and Clay' A Whitepaper can say anything, don't even look at the Whitepaper until you have looked at the team. The concept of a Coin or Token can be great but it won't be executed properly without the right team. Also the most respected people in the industry of Technology and those with well known and successful Companies , are not likely to start a scam Ico because they don't want to tarnish their own brands. They do not necessarily have to be large Multinational Companies for Example, Omisego has a three year old Company behind their product( Yes that's right I just called it a product.)

It's not a product its a currency
"A currency is a system of money in general use in a particular country." Crypto is being banned from Facebook and Google advertisements. Have you bought a loaf of bread with bitcoin, No? How about a cup of coffee? Bitcoin and Alt Coins are not yet generally accepted so they are not a currency. Right now a good Crypto will have something new and positive offer to the world. It is easier to think of Cryptos as products, the newest coins that will grow fast with high gains are going to be the ones that have something to different to offer or something in high demand, iExec is a great Example of a Currency that has something exciting to offer and that is why it has secured itself a place in the Top 100. Do not get me wrong an ICO can be just as successful without being different as long as its doing something better like Funfair, they are moving very quickly and showing more & more progress than their competitors, hence their high growth and likelihood of success.

The truth
New "products" have high gains when successful and they are not as scary when you understand how to evaluate them properly. BEWARE. Invest small into New Cryptos are still the most volatile in an already volatile market. But the way I look at is that Bitcoin might grow by 6% in a month a new Crytpo might grow by 140% in two days so a small invest might be worth the risk.

So in Summary do not trust promised Gains Figures, look for a good team, look for originality and invest small.
