Altcoins booming

I guess I'm not the only one who saw it but last week the altcoins are really booming.
The total capitalization increased by 5 billion in like 3 days.

I'm very unexperienced with these coins but right now it seems there are no limits on the growth.

Is there anyone who can tell me if it is the limit or would it boom further?
