Flash all4one firmeware on AlphaCrypt R2.2

in #alphacrypt7 years ago (edited)

This article will explain, how to flash the all4one firmeware on an AlphaCrypt 2.2 (2.2 will be the only module working for e.g. Sky V14 cards). With this module you can for example use a paired Sky V14 card with any receiver, that has a pcmcia-slot.
The flashing will be done with the HMP Programmer.

Here we go:

  • go to https://alphacrypt.to/
  • download one4all (ver. 2.40) (for HMP USB CI-Programmer)
  • extract
  • install drivers (drivers_hmp_pcmcia\VCP_V1.4.0_Setup.exe)
  • plug the alphacrypt into the programmer
  • plug the programmer into your pc
  • look in your device-manager, if the device is properly detected:
  • (optional) if there is a yellow exclamation mark:
    • right click on the device
    • click on:
      • update/install driver
      • “Browse my computer for driver software”
      • “Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer”
      • “Have Disk”
      • Browse to “C:\Program Files (x86)\STMicroelectronics\Software\Virtual comport driver\Win8\stmcdc.inf” => OK
      • Select:
      • install the driver
  • start One4All_2.40.exe in the directory where you extracted the download
  • Wait until your device is detected:
  • press “Program” and wait (this will take a while ~2min)

enjoy!
