Allodium Blockchain Report - Week #203 Ending Aug 30th 2021

In the final week of August, the focus has primarily been sealing up the Entry Hall.

Starting with lowest entry point, this arch got a door and a window framed in, with insulation foamed in the gaps.

Lath and mortar are applied as the siding, while the top window is actually framed in with insulation board and mortar; due to the constrains imposed by the mortar above the window space, which was already in place on the outer wall.

Now, everything has at least 1 coat of mortar, and the second window is installed, with some (uneven) drip edge pieces under the window.

The change in depth between the door and upper window was a challenge, but it turned out well on the inside; a ledge on the inside inspired the idea to put a loft up above the door, which will make use of that ledge.

Work began on the next arch opening, which will be big enough for vehicle entry. That means a big door with heavy duty hinges, bolted into 2 pressure treated uprights which need a footer to sit on.

This will work. 2 layers of lath added into the mortar give it extra strength.

The second window opening was also framed in with trex, secured with foam, and 2 windows installed before a first coat of mortar was added to the outside.

Up on top of the lower section of the Gatetower, stairs were cut into the insulation and a sheet of lath was secured to them and mortared. Remesh is also being pinned to the sloping section so it can be mortared in as well.

Lath has been added to the remaining stair section, with pieces bent around the side.

The remesh on the slope has been fully encased.

And the stairs are mortared!

With a bit more insulation and mortar, this Gate Tower section will be complete!

Produce is in abundance and all is thriving as we enter September here in Allodium, at OG Foundation.

Oh yeah, I cut my dreadlocks off as well!

I left a single dread/ rat tail which will be a sign of my Padawan Jedi status.

Once I complete my Jedi Trials, I will cut the Padawan tail and graduate as a Jedi Knight of the Allodial Jedi Order!

The Jedi Order hasn't been formally established as an Allodial Guild Enterprise yet, but the plans are in the works!

In Block #203, ending 8/30/2021, a total of 2691@ (Appreciation Tokens) were generated; 371@ were generated by the daily appreciation of 53 members, 430@ were generated by 43 hours of labor exhausted for the Cooperative, and 1890@ were generated by 189 OG Creds (Ø); bringing the total to 320,879@.

There are currently 53 members of Allodium, 10 of whom have Affirmed their Sovereignty, and 6 of those whom have at least 1 OG Cred; along with 2 Dangling Branches. The updated Member Tree can be viewed here:
