Hello guys,

I hope you enjoyed yesterday’s posting, today my posting will be the translation of the next sentence in the Dutch historical political-philosophical book [1] which underlies the first Dutch constitution. Please feel free to engage on this thought provoking quote.

If all prejudices, fear of each other, hunt for profit and self-denial, will be pushed aside, then the equality of people would be the adamant basis for a new governmental form.

Als alle vooroordelen, angst voor elkaar, winstbejag en zelfverloochening, terzijde worden geschoven, dan zou de gelijkheid van de mensen ten onvermurwbare grondslag worden gelegd aan een nieuwe regeringsvorm.
