Ten Rare Animals That Only exist in the country of Indonesia

EAGLE FLOREST

Flailed eagles or Spizaetus floris can only be found on the islands of Flores, Sumbawa, Lombok, Satonda, Paloe, Komodo, and Rinca. This bird usually inhabits lowland forests and submontana forests up to an altitude of 1600 meters above sea level.

BERUK MENTAWAI
Mentawai Bears or Macaca pagensis is an endemic primate of Mentawai Mentawai in Sumatra. Animals that locals call bokoi have fewer populations, so they are categorized as endangered. By the West, rare monkeys are often the object of scientific research is known as Pagai Macaque.

The Western world knows him with the nickname of Halmahera's Bird of Paradise.

Bald Bald
Bird of Paradise Birds or Cicinnurus respublica is endemic animal of Waigeo island, Raja Ampat, Papua. This gorgeous rare bird has red and black fur, with a yellow nape and a bright green mouth. Komodo dragons
Komodo or Varanus komodoensis is an endemic species of Indonesia that can only be found in the islands around Nusa Tenggara, including in Komodo Island National Park.

Type of the largest lizard in the world has a body length of 3 meters and weight 70 kilograms. Male dragons are larger than female Komodo dragons, with skin tones from dark gray to brick red. Red Arwana Fish
Red Arwana fish or Red Siluk (Sclerophages formosus) is an endemic animal of Indonesia that inhabit the Kapuas River in West Kalimantan.

Red cat population is found only on the island of Borneo only. This cat inhabits dense lowland tropical forests up to 900 meters above sea level.
