Epicene?
This word was used in a book written in 1904 predicting the life and times of our generation.

Epicene means of neutral gender.

I think it's very interesting since now some are debating that we can't think of GOD as a man?

Interesting to see how a population and it's culture can change and not knowing the source and the reasons behind this change.
