money

Really...Who on Earth doesn't know money?

This' a rather silly question many would say, and perhaps it's the wrong question?

Perhaps Ayn Rand asked it correctly:

“So you think that money is the root of all evil? Have you ever asked what is the root of money?

I think so.

It's fair and safe to assume I think that everyone including the beggar on the streetwalk today has some money on his/her body.

And I also think that not everybody knows what is at the root of it.

Based on the statistics of an article I wrote on my blog - Bank Negara Malaysia – Central Bank of Malaysia – Who owns it? it pretty much reflects just how little Malaysians know about the Malaysian Ringgit.

There are many articles written by many good people online and one of them is by Charles Hugh Smith - (oftwominds.com)

What Is Money? (Yes, We're Talking About Bitcoin)

What is money? We all assume we know, because money is a commonplace feature of everyday life. Money is what we earn and exchange for goods and services. Everyone thinks the money they’re familiar with is the only possible system of money—until they run across an entirely different system of money.
Then they realize money is a social construct, a confluence of social consensus and political force-- what we agree to use as money, and what our government mandates we use as money under threat of punishment.
We assume that our monetary system is much like a Law of Nature: since it’s ubiquitous, it must be the only possible system.

Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, Bitcoin

Yup, its super hype on the Internet right now as we speak and its reached a point of ad nauseum. Yet, not many know what it is (the root).

What's more comical is that most people who reject this new revolutionary form of money because they're afraid of it (as they know not much or nothing about it) as though they know everything about the beloved fiat paper money in their purses.

Clearly, bitcoin is a means of exchange, a legal form of capital that accrues taxable capital gains and it's a store of value. So by the conventional definition of money, bitcoin is money. It's our right to think it a nonsensical form of money, just as it's our right to mock the stone rai, and deride the packages of ramen noodles that serve as money in prisons. But our mockery doesn't change the functionality of these forms of money. - Charles H Smith

Ignorance is surely not bliss as some would like to think. It could well be detrimental and dangerous as I've said, You Don't Read, You Don't Know.

Believing is yet another false-sense of knowing because If you believe you still don't know

The article by Charles Hugh Smith - What Is Money? (Yes, We're Talking About Bitcoin) is a good starter to get to know about money since (and if) you love money that much.

If Money is the Root of all evil, then what is the root of Money? 👌🏾 Nice Quote

Hi! I'm a robot! I noticed that you took your payout as 100% power-up and I just wanted to let you know that right now, you will potentially make a LOT more money if you take the 50/50 option that pays you some SBD. You can read about why this is true here. If you want me to leave you alone, just reply with the word STOP.
