Rapper Mystikal Charged With First-Degree Rape In Louisiana

Mystikal is facing rape allegations for a sexually related charge from an incident that happened in October.
Police spokesperson Cpl. Angie Willhite refused to elaborate, but KSLA reports that the incident stems from the rapper’s stop in Shreveport on the Legends of Hip-Hop” tour.
Investigators collected evidence at the scene linked to Mystikal and 26-year-old Averweone Holman. The later was arrested in Killeen, Texas on Friday by U.S. Marshalls. A third person, 42-year-old Tenichia Wafford of Harker Heights, Texas, is being sought after by law enforcement.
Police claim Wafford attempted to persuade the victim to retract her story and faces a charge of accessory after the fact to first-degree rape. Her bond has been set at $200,000.
A $2 million bond has been set for both Mystikal and Holman as each face one count of first degree rape.
Mystikal is no stranger to the law though especially sexual assault cases.
In 2003, Mystikal’s rising career was interrupted, sentenced to six years in prison for sexual battery and extortion, after he forced a female employee to tape herself engaged in sex acts.
The rape occurred because the victim accepted checks against the rapper’s bank account even though she knew he didn’t authorize them.
The extortion charges stem from Mystikal allegedly soliciting the woman for sex, under the condition that he wouldn’t turn her into the police for her crime.
The rapper also served two months in jail for violating his probation, after he was arrested for domestic abuse in February of 2010..
