A security guard for JFK Airport died after he lost control and flipped his vehicle early Sunday morning, according to witnesses and authorities.

The contractor was driving the car around 3:45 a.m. near the intersection of Lefferts Boulevard and Pan-Am Road in Queens when his SUV careened through a fence and into several cars parked in John F. Kennedy International Airport’s long-term parking lot.

The vehicle flipped as it struck the other cars and ultimately landed in section A11 of the lot, where it then caught fire, according to witnesses and an FDNY spokesman.

The victim, who worked for Allied Universal, was rushed to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he died.

“He broke through the fence here and his car tumbled and stopped in section A11,” said an airport employee, who asked to remain anonymous. “It was on fire and he didn’t survive.”

It was not immediately clear what caused the man to lose control of the vehicle.
