Po.et is a shared, universal ledger designed to track ownership and attribution for the world's digital creative assets

By creating an open platform on the Bitcoin blockchain, Po.et aims to create the most institutional, globally-verified record of digital media assets.

The core objective of Po.et is to create a platform which simplifies the process for publishing, licensing and authentication of digital assets.

Po.et will be simplifying the publishing process by solving the issues of document integrity, licensing, arbitrage, analytics, syndication and attribution of digital assets.

It will allow the users to:

Generate an immutable ownership certificate for digital media content and creative works
Track and license assets on the web, verified by a blockchain timestamp
Discover new content or verify the authenticity and authorized use of content appearing around the web

It will by used by content creators, publishers, editors and consumers.

Functional token with few main features:

To create a community of engaged, invested stakeholders and publishers.

To raise funds for the long-term development of Po.et.

To provide a mechanism to economically reward early adopters and positve contributors to the Po.et network.

Ownership of the Po.et token represents a proportional share of the fees and revenue generated from the commercial applications of Po.et. This is not guaranteed in the whitepaper.
