Places to visit in Malaysia #3 Putrajaya Lake

In today's post we continue our journey through Malaysia and our next stop is at Putrajaya.
Putrajaya is a garden city with an attention-grabbing variety of beautiful, colossal architecture. The Federal Government’s administrative hub of the country, it is about 25km from KL and spans a distance of 4932 hectares. A showcase of gorgeous urban planning, there is so much to see here that a tour should definitely be on the itinerary when you visit.
At the very heart of Putrajaya is the Putrajaya Wetland with a natural landscape dominated by Putrajaya Lake, The Lake and Wetland are two of the most distinctive features of the city. The 650-hectare Putrajaya Lake is designed to act as a natural cooling system for the city and for recreation, fishing, water sports and water transport.
We went with the intention to relax, take a leisurely walk, breath some fresh air and so we did.

Want to fish, no problem.
Tired, sit dow and relax.
You can rent a bike and cycle around the lake.

Rice pyramid! Thanks for sharing. There are so many interesting things in other places in the world that I love reading about (especially when it comes to food). In Ireland theme parks, they have chips swirling around a thin wooden stick! :)
