Mumbai Police celebrates birthday of one-year-old dogs with cakes and balloons. Viral video
Mumbai Police are known for their quirky posts that always manage to leave the netizens in splits. However, today they posted a video which collectively made the internet go aww.
The official Twitter account of Mumbai Police took to Twitter to celebrate the first birthday of three police dogs-in-training. The thee German Shepherds - Honey, Maya and Whiskey, turned one on Tuesday and Mumbai Police shared a video of the celebrations on the micro-blogging site.

The police department’s Twitter account shared the clip with the caption, "Look who’s turned 1 yesterday! The little puppies gifted to us in August last year by @RAKSHITAMEHTA11 will soon be vigilant sentries to shepherd the safety of Mumbaikars. Please join us in wishing Honey, Maya & Whiskey a very ‘Happy Birthday’ #ShePawer (sic)."
In the clip, the three dogs were seen with three cakes that were also brought in to celebrate the special occasion. Honey, Maya and Whiskey also wore pink sashes around their necks. The room was also decorated with balloons and a banner reading Happy Birthday.
After Mumbai Police shared the clip, it quickly went viral and managed to garner over 17.2k views. Twitterati also took to the comments section to shower their love for the doggos.
Honey, Maya and Whiskey were offered to the police by Rakshita Mehta and since then, the three have been under training. Mumbai Police adopted them last year and soon they will take up the responsibility of protecting the city.
Rakshita had tweeted to Mumbai Police offering the three puppies to them in 2019. After that, Mumbai's Police Commissioner Sanjay Barve had sent her a heartwarming reply accepting her offer.
