Alcyone of Mars - Time Traveler

in #aliens7 years ago (edited)

I've following this saga since the very beginning, when it started in 2009.

A so called "time traveler" started posting on the GLP forums back then, first as an anonymous user, and later on, as a registered one.

I'm gonna start dumping the whole stuff here, as I recorded the whole thing on PDF format. Used to be online on the old Megaupload servers, now it's gone, but I kept the files.

This person was a regular poster on these forums for a big part of 2009, and maintaned her character for all the time being there. The original behavior was to simply add responses on several threads that could be related to the "extraterrestrial visitation" topic.

At some point, some months later, gather enough attention and, just when asked by several other users, she decided to finally create some threads. These were basically descriptions of the coming centuries for humanity.

She claimed to be a time traveler from the year 10.839, and she was living on Mars. The whole point of her species to come back was to fight the menace from the "greys" aliens, that were part of an alternative, unnatural timeline, where humanity got invaded and manipulated by these beings.

In any case, I'll dump the entire thing here, taking advantage that this time the information will remain as long this blockchain stays here.

This is the first file I compiled. It corresponds to the content of the only threads she made, later on, I'll publish the ones related to all the replies she gave in several other threads during months.

EDIT to add: You'll read about the "The World War II ½ Theory" her people had. This information came directly from historical records, not time travel. The source of her information was a combination of the two. Remember, the whole material was posted during 2009. That said, the 2012 war theory seems to fit with the arab spring that culminated with the syrian conflict, that literally destroyed the whole country and plunged it into a civil war that still today continues. I'll point out several other interesting "hits" on the coming posts.

Here we go:

(This is Part 1 of my chronicle of the history from your time period to my time
period, the 109th century.)

The Twenty-First Century

The World War II ½ Theory

Some historians speculate that a major war, lasting about six years, broke out around 2012. The location most often suggested for this war is the Middle East.
Although the identities of the players in this conflict are a matter of contentious debate, China seems to have been the primary benefactor of this hypothetical war, as China is known to have become the most influential world power in the Middle East by 2030. In addition, the United States and, to a lesser degree, Russia, seem
to have expended a great deal of resources for some reason during the 2010s, as the national debt of both countries increased dramatically.

World War III

The next major war that we are aware of began in 2031, and primarily involved the United States and China. It may have started over a Chinese attempt to reclaim Taiwan. In any case, the conflict escalated, the United States and China exchanged nuclear salvos, and by 2039 Chinese ground troops had landed on the west coast of the United States. Chinese forces pushed all the way to the Rocky Mountains before the United States government capitulated. China retained the western United States from the Pacific Ocean to the Rocky Mountains, while a Chinese puppet was appointed as the new President, with control over the remaining territory from the Rocky Mountains to the Atlantic Ocean. The war resulted in an estimated 130 million combat deaths, and China became the dominant world hyperpower from that point on.

World War IV

In 2068, India, overcrowded and in need of land and resources, invaded Pakistan. A nuclear exchange ensued, in which India gained a decisive advantage. India’s goal, however, was not Pakistan itself but rather the oil fields further east in Iran, Iraq, and the Arabian Peninsula. India rapidly advanced through Pakistan and into Iran.
China, wanting to maintain its control over the Middle East and its resources, declared war against India. China also allied itself with the Arab nations in the region, and the Chinese and Arabs fought side by side to halt India’s advance at Baghdad.

However, there was a segment of Arab society that resented China’s presence in Arab lands, comparing it to America’s conspicuous involvement in the Middle East decades earlier. Some groups, most of them originating in the region’s Palestinian population, began to attack Chinese positions using the terrorist tactics they developed for use against American and Israeli interests during the early part of the 21st century.

China responded with extreme force; they planned to make an example of the Palestinians in the Middle East. The Chinese army invaded first the Gaza Strip, followed by the West Bank, and exterminated nearly the entire population with a combination of conventional air strikes, chemical weapons, and firing squads.

Chinese forces also wiped out the Palestinian refugee camps and other Palestinian communities throughout the Middle East, often paying other Arabs to take part in the massacres and to hunt down the survivors. The Chinese government offered asylum and a bounty to any foreign citizen who murdered a Palestinian outside the Middle East.

The international community, including the Arab governments in the region, made no attempt to protect the Palestinian people, except for the famous Operation Berakah, which was initiated by Israel in cooperation with Italy. After the Israeli government realized what the Chinese military was doing in the Gaza Strip, a plan was formulated to rescue as many Palestinians as possible from the West Bank before the Chinese invaded it as well. Operation Berakah began on December 27, 2071, with the demolition of several sections of the wall that separated the West Bank from Israel. Israeli military transports, along with commercial buses and taxis, and even private civilian cars, then entered the West Bank and began evacuating Palestinians.

Unfortunately, many Palestinians were skeptical about the Israelis’ intentions and reacted with disbelief to their claim that the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip had already been exterminated by the Chinese. Most of the Palestinians refused to leave the West Bank, but Israel was nevertheless able to effect the rescue of approximately 200,000 cooperative Palestinians. The rescued Palestinians were rapidly conducted to the Israeli coast, where they boarded ships destined for Italy, which had agreed to take in the Palestinian refugees. Operation Berakah continued until the moment the Chinese army reached the Israeli border.

Even after the arrival of the Chinese army and the conclusion of Operation Berakah, a few Israeli civilians managed to sneak behind Chinese lines and rescue a few more Palestinians. The most famous of these was an Israeli college student named Daniela David. She made an amazing five round trips to the West Bank and back in
her car, rescuing twenty-three Palestinians, before Chinese forces recognized and opened fire on her car on her sixth entry into the West Bank. Daniela burned to death in her car.

Meanwhile, Chinese and Indian forces battled to a stalemate along the Tigris River. In 2072, another nuclear exchange was averted when an armistice was signed which allowed India to retain control of Pakistan, as well as the portions of Iran and Iraq lying south of a straight line from the point where the Afghanistan-Pakistan
border intersected the Iranian border to a bend in the Tigris River just over halfway from the Persian Gulf to Baghdad. Under the armistice, Chinese hegemony over the rest of the Middle East was recognized, but its influence in the region after the war was diminished by India’s presence; India had gained control over the rich oil fields
in southwestern Iran and southeastern Iraq. The war resulted in an estimated 125 million combat deaths.

World War V

The final world war began in 2095 in the middle of a deep economic depression. It involved China, India, Russia, and the European Union, and Middle East oil was yet again the center of the conflict. Early in the war, China invaded India with nuclear support, overthrew the government, and occupied a large part of Indian territory; Russia soon suffered the same fate. This left China and the European Union to fight over the Middle East.

The final battle of this war took place in early October of 2101, and it had the distinguishing characteristic of being the only 21st century battle to utilize cavalry. “Terrorists,” assumed to have actually been European Union agents, used electromagnetic pulse weaponry to disable much of China’s military and civilian technology, including tanks, hovercraft, aircraft, missiles, and satellite uplinks.

Though outgunned by European Union forces, the Chinese army—on horseback— responded by attacking European positions all across the Middle East. In spite of the electromagnetic pulse attack, the Chinese proved to hold the advantage due to their superior numbers.

The European Union managed to turn the tide of the battle in the Middle East through the use of direct nuclear strikes on the Chinese ground troops, igniting many oil fields in the process—only to find their territories in Europe overrun by the Chinese force that had been occupying Russia, which was unaffected by the electromagnetic pulse attack. In a desperate attempt to stop China’s rapid advance across Europe, the remaining organized European militaries launched nuclear strikes on Chinese-held targets within European territory, which resulted in the
destruction of many European cities.

By October 9, 2101, these scorched earth tactics had culminated in the total collapse of the European Union power structure, the last of which was eliminated with the fall of Paris; on the same day civil unrest emerging in the aftermath of the electromagnetic pulse attack in China finally resulted in the fall of the Chinese government and its puppet regime in the United States. The war ended with no victor, and left practically a worldwide power vacuum in its wake, resulting in the Dark Age of the 22nd and 23rd centuries. The combat death toll of this last war is
estimated to have been about 190 million.

Achievements of the 21st Century

In spite of the frequent wars, the 21st century did produce some important scientific and technological achievements. Computer and telecommunication engineers had perfected telepresence by the 2040s; by the 2080s, true virtual reality was commonplace. Great strides were also made in the fields of artificial intelligence and robotics, especially in the 2080s and 2090s. Theoretical physicists formulated the Topological Theory of Relativity, challenging the Einsteinian notion that there are no preferred reference frames, and applied the mathematics of chaos theory to the study of quantum physics with fantastic success. New developments in genetic engineering foreshadowed the great advancements that would appear in this field after the Dark Age.

The United States, Russia, China, India, Japan, and the European Union successfully carried out manned Lunar landings. The United States, Russia, China, and the European Union also succeeded in landing humans on Mars. The United States conducted a manned flyby of Venus. Both the United States and China established colonies on Luna and Mars, which are still populated to this day; Russia established a manned Lunar outpost that was later abandoned. In addition, China established manned outposts on several asteroids and conducted a human landing
on Jupiter’s moon Callisto.

History of the Dark Age

(This is Part 2 of my chronicle of the history from your time period to my time
period in the 109th century.)

The Dark Age

Overview

The beginning of the Dark Age is usually dated to the fall of Paris and Beijing on October 9, 2101. Roughly the first half of the Dark Age was distinguished by a state of global anarchy. Government on any level was nonexistent; the resulting degree of personal freedom was tempered by a lack of even the most basic services. The wanton lawlessness of the large cities proved to be far too dangerous for most people, and many cities were almost completely abandoned as people began to roam the countryside in search of the fundamental necessities of living. In some places, warlords assembled armed militias and preyed on those who were weaker.

Most of the infrastructure that had not been destroyed during World War V or earlier was destroyed by vandals during the Dark Age, leaving the people of the Dark Age with little or no access to previously created technology. Very few artifacts remain from the early Dark Age; most surviving items from this period are makeshift implements adapted from naturally available raw materials or scavenged 21st century objects.

During roughly the second half of the Dark Age, simple forms of social cohesion began to reemerge. People settled down in the areas in which they found themselves able to satisfy their basic needs. The permanent dwelling ensured a higher degree of safety and comfort for its inhabitants, and such dwellings naturally clustered together. The reestablishment of permanent settlements created the need to enforce fairness and justice in interpersonal relationships; as a result, local governments started to take shape. Still, without any regional government, a
criminal could escape justice simply by leaving the area. Eventually, these small communities began to rebuild the infrastructure of the previous civilization, providing limited electricity and clean water for their residents. Over time, multiple settlements sought mutual cooperation, which led to the formation of loose regional governments in some places. These regional governments proved to be able to muster militias of their own to fend off marauding warlords and outlaw bands; at times, the regional governments no doubt clashed with one another over land or
resources.

Throughout the Dark Age, it was actually infectious disease, and not violence, that posed the greatest threat to human life. Medical care was practically nonexistent, and most ailments went untreated, resulting in high mortality. Where it was available, some Dark Age people made a tea from coca leaves, used as a stimulant
to provide energy.

Though Dark Age conditions prevailed in different regions for different lengths of time, historians traditionally refer to January 20, 2278, the date of the founding of the American Theocracy, the first national government to exist since the 21st century, as the end of the Dark Age.

Dark Age Events

The Dark Age produced no contemporary historians, with the struggles for survival that characterized this time period leaving little time for documenting events. The only histories of this period that are available to modern researchers were compiled by writers living some time after the Dark Age. The many blatant contradictions
between individual historical writings suggest that they contain radical embellishments, deliberate minimizations, and intentional omissions.

Some of these ancient historians mention three short outbursts of conflict, called the Tech Wars, taking place during the early Dark Age. The first of these is usually recorded as beginning in 2115 and ending in 2117, while the second is generally said to have started in 2139 and ended in 2143, and the third is recorded as having taken place in 2145 and 2146. Most sources that mention these wars describe them as rivalries between some of the more powerful warlords vying for control of various pieces of usable 21st century technological remains, and the violence is almost always said to have consumed both sides of the conflicts, with death tolls— intensified by the lack of effective medical care—ranging between 170 million and 250 million.

The majority of sources describe another war, referred to as the Century War, beginning in 2177 and continuing until the nominal end of the Dark Age, or even afterwards in some regions. Ancient historians commonly claim that this war destroyed about 10.5 billion human lives, making it the most deadly conflict in history. However, modern scholars have theorized that accounts of the Century War are in fact conflated depictions of the entire Dark Age itself.

Religion in the Dark Age

During the Dark Age, religion reasserted itself strongly in private life, as the trials and uncertainties of daily life seemed to continuously defeat human strength and intellect, driving the people of the Dark Age to seek protection and guidance from divine sources. Christianity, Judaism, and Buddhism were especially resurgent; Wicca and other neopagan faiths also flourished, in many cases in syncretism with other religious traditions. On the other hand, Hinduism and Islam languished; Hinduism collapsed as the lower castes rejected the religion’s longstanding social
order, while Islam suffered a severe depopulation as a result of the warfare that had devastated the Middle East in the 21st century.

The Dark Age also produced a short-lived new religious cult, known as Dajjalism, which was rejected as blatantly heretical, demonic, or destructive, by all of the other religious traditions of the period. The accuracy of ancient treatises on Dajjalism is questionable, and the extant writings of its founder are known to have suffered severe alterations, yet it is fairly certain that Dajjalism was centered on a man who claimed to be the Dajjal of Islamic eschatology. Ancient writers variously describe Dajjalism as anything from a minor sect barely encompassing Baghdad to a massive imperial theocracy engulfing virtually the entire land mass of Asia, Africa, and Europe; one document even reports a short Dajjalist foray into North America.

Perhaps no other historical figure has been subject to as much exaggeration as this Dajjal claimant has. Many ancient sources describe him as a terrifying undead cybernetic being with a red, illuminated eyepiece in place of his natural eye. His teachings are said to have been based on his own assertion of godhood and an invitation to followers to join him in his divinity through ritual mutilation and cybernetic augmentation. A few ancient historians denied this man’s existence entirely; at the other extreme, some sources name him as the primary instigator and antagonist of the Century War. The writings known to have been composed by this Dajjal claimant deal mainly with technology as an essential catalyst for human evolution and perfection. The logical flow of the extant text is frequently punctuated with outbursts of maniacal anger directed at a wide variety of targets for no apparent reason; these interruptions are generally regarded by scholars as having been added by a later editor or polemical commentator.

In any case, Dajjalism did not survive long after the end of the Dark Age. A number of historical records describe successful anti-Dajjalist pogroms that appear to have exterminated the vast majority of the sect’s adherents. The Temple of Dajjal, apparently the cult’s only sacred site, is said to have been abandoned by the Dajjalists and then meticulously dismantled and literally reduced to dust by a military expedition sent from the American Theocracy.

Arts in the Dark Age

The arts of the Dark Age were generally practical in nature. Visual art consisted primarily of diagrams intended to communicate useful information to friends, family, or posterity. Since paper was easily destroyed, and in any case was in short supply due to the total collapse of industry, the people of the Dark Age sought more permanent media in which to create such images; diagrams were often drawn on concrete fragments or scratched onto metal. An example of this Dark Age art is a sketch on concrete found near the ruins of Mexico City, depicting the construction
of a wood-powered electric generator.

Literature in the Dark Age manifested in two main forms. The first consisted of brief instructive notes on various topics relevant to subsistence living, such as farming, fishing, and construction of shelters and makeshift technological implements. These often accompanied diagrams like those described above. The other major form of
literature in the Dark Age related to practical spirituality and included prayers intended to secure a divine blessing in specific endeavors.

Unfortunately, no Dark Age music has survived to the present, though certain prayer texts contain annotations that appear to have served to indicate the proper way of singing the prayers within a liturgical framework. The simplicity of these annotations suggests that the melodies they represented were likewise simple and
unsystematic.

Legacy of the Dark Age

Although the Dark Age was less than 200 years in length, it had lasting effects on the international power structure. The anarchy and technological collapse of the Dark Age served as an equalizer, reducing all regions, cultures, and ethnicities to nearly the same level of poverty and powerlessness. After the Dark Age, the international power structure realigned based on the distribution of usable natural resources. Regions with large amounts of natural resources, such as Africa and South America, were positioned to become global superpowers; regions that had
expended most of their original natural resources, such as Europe, and regions that were especially devastated by the wars of the 21st century, such as the Middle East, fell to third world status.

Additionally, the anarchy of the Dark Age led to realignment along ethnic, religious, and cultural lines. National entities that had previously achieved coherence mainly through military power or a unified political system dissolved when military power and political systems ceased to exist. After the Dark Age, ethnicity and religion
were the primary unifying forces; as a result, the new national entities that were established in the wake of the Dark Age generally encompassed only a single ethnic or religious group. Multiethnic and multireligious regions fragmented, while regions consisting of a single ethnic group or faith that had previously been separated along
purely political lines now sought unity.

The end result of all of these factors is that the geopolitical structure after the Dark Ages was very different from that which preceded it.

(This is Part 3 of my chronicle of the history from the 21st century to my time
period in the 109th century.)

Introduction to the Third Civilization

The Dark Age is generally regarded as ending in 2278 with the foundation of the American Theocracy. As the Dark Age had essentially reset the international power structure, many regions of the world that had been at a disadvantage in previous centuries now gained a decisive advantage due to their richness in natural resources.

Similarly, regions that once enjoyed a great deal of geopolitical power and importance, but had since expended most of their natural resources, were relegated to third world insignificance. The first national government to emerge from the Dark Age was the American Theocracy, followed about 400 years later by the First Chinese Empire, and the First Russian Empire about 100 years after that. The American Theocracy remained stable for hundreds of years, while successive Chinese and Russian empires rose and fell in Asia.

These early empires were surrounded by disorganized third world cultures, the most significant of which were the Mongolians, Japanese, Europeans, and North Africans. The Middle East, once vitally important for its oil, was reduced to a mostly forgotten wasteland inhabited only by a handful of nomads. Eventually, the Third Russian Empire came to dominate the other empires that had been competing with it for power, quickly conquering the Third Chinese Empire and then a weakened American Theocracy in the 40th century. Russia’s supremacy,
however, lasted only about 100 years. Australian statesmen responded to Russian aggression by unifying under a single democratic government with the goal of forging an international empire. This Australian Empire succeeded at rapidly conquering all of East Asia and North America, and left a cultural legacy that lasted for millennia.

Australian’s cultural and political reforms were not accepted by the entire world, however, and about 300 years after Australia’s celebrated conquests, a backlash against the Australian way appeared in the Amazon River basin. The people of this region rejected Australian-style democracy, instead unifying Latin America under a dictatorship that came to be called the Amazonian Empire. The Amazonian Empire conquered most of the world, which it dominated for about 400 years.

Eventually, the Amazonian Empire disintegrated, and several powers, including Chile, a unified Nordic state, and a resurgent England and Germany, sought to fill the geopolitical vacuum. Yet it was Africa that finally came into global domination, with Namibia, Madagascar, and Congo rising in international power and prestige.

In addition to ruling Earth, the African powers expanded into the rest of the Sol system, colonizing all of the planets, as well as many asteroids and other bodies orbiting Sol. Until this time, the people of Mars and Luna, descendants of 21st century American and Chinese colonists, had been living a kind of high-technology subsistence lifestyle in which their basic survival needs were met only with the aid of their technology. The African powers of Earth colonized and eventually terraformed the planets, bringing a higher standard of living to both the new
colonists and the original inhabitants. However, some of the colonists eventually sought and gained independence from Earth.

By the time the Third Civilization came to an end, the Congolese had succeeded at uniting Earth under a single government in Kinshasa, and most of the planets were ruled by their own independent governments. Mars, which in time had become the primary power in the Sol system, even began sending explorers and colonists to
planets orbiting other stars.

The history of science and technology in the Third Civilization is rich with innovation and revolution. Among the many theories to be formulated were the Theory of Observational Relativity, which accounted for consciousness in physics for the first time; a complete theory of gravity; Lahana’s Theorem, popularly known as the “God Proof;” and a complete theory of mass and inertia. These advances in theory were matched by spectacular achievements in technological development, which included the construction of the Space Lift, the manufacture of stable neutronium, the construction of levitating cities, the implementation of a quantum entanglement communication network, and the development of inertialess and superluminal travel.

The history of culture and society in the Third Civilization essentially resembled the swinging of a pendulum. For example, the American Theocracy established a theocratic republic, which was replaced by the dictatorship of the Third Russian Empire, which was itself superseded in turn by liberal Australian democracy, followed by Amazonia’s rejection of democracy in favor of dictatorship, and finally the reestablishment of liberal democracy in Africa. Similarly, the monotheistic inferences of Lahana’s Theorem, popularized by the Australians, were met by a
polytheistic backlash in the Amazonian Empire and Norden. During the Third Civilization, the majority of the human population attained the fifth order of consciousness.

The Third Civilization is generally regarded as having ended in 6556, when a series
of severe coronal mass ejections damaged infrastructure across the Sol system and
caused a disintegration of the prevailing interplanetary political order.

(Future parts of my history will describe the Third Civilization period in more detail,
beginning with the American Theocracy in Part 4.)

Cyclical Civilization Theory

Posted on: 10/14/2009 6:43 PM

http://www.godlikeproductions.com/forum1/message900594/pg1
(This is an essay on Cyclical Civilization Theory, intended to accompany my

Introduction to the Third Civilization which is posted here: [link to
www.godlikeproductions.com] )

Cyclical Civilization Theory

Historians divide the history of Homo sapiens and Homo novus into four generally cyclical periods, referred to as the First, Second, Third, and Fourth Civilizations.

Civilizations are primarily associated with the achievement of a specific Kardashev level, the attainment of a certain order of consciousness by the majority of the population, and with a particular astrological age. Each civilization period is punctuated by a collapse event and an ensuing dark age period. This conceptual framework is known as the Cyclical Civilization Theory.

The Extended Kardashev Scale

Scholars measure the level of advancement of a civilization in terms of the amount of energy it is able to harness, which also corresponds roughly to the size of the territorial holdings of its government. For convenience, energy usages are divided into discrete levels on a scale known as the Extended Kardashev Scale, an improvement on the 20th century system developed by Kardashev. The Extended Kardashev Scale assigns to each civilization a Kardashev level between -3 and IV, with the possibility of further extension to the system. At each successive
Kardashev level, a civilization will have harnessed approximately 10 billion times as much energy as a civilization on the previous Kardashev level.

A Kardashev level of -3 corresponds to an energy usage of 10-26 W, which is roughly equivalent to the binding energy of a single atom. Kardashev -2 corresponds to an energy usage of 10-16 W, roughly equal to the metabolism of a single cell. Kardashev -1 corresponds to an energy consumption of 10-6 W, approximately equal to the caloric intake requirement of an average humanoid organism. These first Kardashev levels do not technically correspond to any real civilizations, since civilization requires the organized interaction of multiple individuals, which would correspond to a Kardashev level greater than -1.

A Kardashev 0 civilization is one that utilizes approximately 104 W of energy, which is roughly the amount of energy available in a fertile river valley or seacoast. A Kardashev I civilization, controlling about 1014 W of energy, normally requires unified control over a single planet, while a Kardashev II civilization, which controls approximately 1024 W of energy, will generally encompass an entire planetary system. Kardashev III civilizations would likely span entire galaxies, utilizing about 1034 W of energy. The highest Kardashev level yet imagined is Kardashev IV, which would involve the use of at least 1044 W of energy, and probably entails control of the entire visible universe.

Orders of Consciousness

Noologists hold that there are at least nine different levels or orders of consciousness. As each successive level is attained, the ability of the individual to perceive, visualize, understand, and reason, is augmented. All lower orders remain intact, but the highest order the individual has attained will usually be the dominant one. In some cases, a lower order may continue to dominate, or a higher order may exert an unbalanced control over the lower orders; both conditions often result in mental illness.

The first order of consciousness is present in human babies, and in all organisms with brains. It is associated with a single dimension—the linear dichotomy of forward and backward motion, corresponding respectively with beneficial stimuli to approach and harmful stimuli to escape from. Consequently, the first order of consciousness is the source of the “fight or flight” response. This order of consciousness responds to opioids. Phobias and anxiety disorders can be caused by an improperly dominant first order of consciousness.

The second order of consciousness is present in children who have learned to walk and speak, and in all territorial animals. It introduces a second dimension—upward and downward motion, corresponding with superiority and dominance, inferiority and submission, within a given social structure. The second order of consciousness is stimulated by alcohols and other depressants. A person who is abnormally aggressive, overprotective, dependent, or paranoid may have a disproportionately dominant second order.

The third order of consciousness appears in children in primary school, and in some of the higher primates. This order introduces a third dimension—left and right— completing the three dimensions of space and giving the individual the ability to manipulate the environment and create tools, as well as the ability to reason and visualize abstractly. The third order of consciousness responds to stimulants such as caffeine and cocaine. Recklessness may be a sign of an abnormal dominance of the third order.

The fourth order of consciousness may appear during adolescence or as late as adulthood in Homo sapiens. It introduces the fourth dimension—time—making it possible for the individual to transmit culture and knowledge to future generations of individuals. Civilization and morality arise from this order of consciousness. The fourth order of consciousness is stimulated by certain amphetamines. The majority of Homo sapiens in the 21st century are on this order of consciousness. The fifth order of consciousness enables the mind to conceptualize intuitively in an
arbitrary number of dimensions; essentially, the previous four-dimensional intelligence is replaced by an n-dimensional intelligence. Full experience of this order of consciousness also allows the conscious control of physical sensations such as pain. Buddhists associate the fifth order of consciousness with the meditation
object of infinite space; appropriately, widespread space travel was a natural consequence of the transition to the fifth order in Homo sapiens.

The fifth order of consciousness responds to tetrahydrocannabinol; it may also be triggered by sudden emotional shock. Improper transition to the fifth order may result in hallucinatory disorders.

The sixth order of consciousness allows the mind to become aware of its own psychonic processes, as well as the psychonic processes of other minds, and the psychon medium which permeates the universe. It is this order that makes interaction with psychon fields and the psychon medium possible; the natural result is consistent telepathy, telekinesis, premonition, astral projection, and other psychic abilities. The sixth order of consciousness is stimulated by mescaline and psilocybin. An improper transition to the sixth order can produce schizophrenic disorders. The majority of Homo novus in the 109th century on are this order of consciousness.

The seventh order of consciousness permits the recall of a person’s psychonic history, a phenomenon resembling the concept of “past lives,” originating from a “psychon memory” property that is not yet understood by physicists. Consciousness may continue indefinitely on this order; a mind that has reached this order of consciousness is
capable of intuitively recalling thoughts, emotions, perceptions, and events that its component psychons were involved in before the person was born. The seventh order of consciousness responds to lysergic acid diethylamide.

The eighth order of consciousness allows the mind to engage in simultaneous interaction with the interconnected totality of all psychons in the universe; it may be related to some undiscovered carrier particle even more basic than the psychon. This phenomenon resembles the concept of the “collective unconscious” or “oversoul,” and Buddhists associate it with the meditation object of infinite consciousness. The eighth order of consciousness responds to ketamine, dimethyltryptamine, and phenylcyclidine.

The ninth order of consciousness is the highest known order; thus far it has proven nearly impossible to explain or even describe. Buddhists associate it with the meditation object of infinite nothingness, and some have claimed that this order transcends physics itself, or even the very notion of existence. The ninth order of consciousness is stimulated by very high doses of dextromethorphan.

Scientific Astrology

Although astrology began as an unscientific discipline, it has since been examined using the methodologies of science, which resulted in the discovery of an underlying basis of fact.

While the impossibility of the notion that celestial bodies themselves influence events in history is accepted almost universally, it is now acknowledged that the ancient astrologers had indeed discovered real cycles of natural and human phenomena. To formalize their descriptions of these cycles, the ancients relied on the stars and planets, not as the assumed source of the phenomena, but as a convenient timekeeping device for indicating the duration and frequency of these cyclical occurrences. Thus the stars and planets do not influence history, but through astrology their motions can be used to identify and predict various cyclical phenomena in history.

The astrological concept relevant to Cyclical Civilization Theory is that of the astrological ages, which are suggested to correspond roughly to the civilizational periods posited by the theory. Interestingly, though the major characteristics of society during each astrological age seem to correlate with the appropriate civilizational period, their durations do not agree. The reason for this difficulty in an otherwise effective theory is unknown. Some have hypothesized that the full cycle of the precession of the equinoxes once took much longer to complete; this would mean that Earth’s precessional movements were slower at some time in the human past. Others suggest, with less probability, that human life, or terrestrial life in general, did not originate on Earth, but rather in some other location in or near the Sol system; they suppose that the civilizational periods would correspond much more faithfully with the precession of the equinoxes at this unknown point of origin.

Civilizational Periods in History

These three criteria of the Cyclical Civilization Theory have been used to identify four civilizational periods in the history of Homo sapiens and Homo novus. The period known as the First Civilization was characterized by the rise of human sentience and the dominance of the third order of consciousness. However, thirdorder consciousness is not considered to be capable of producing civilization; consequently, the true civilization of this period actually consisted of isolated enclaves of fourth-order consciousness, the most prominent of which was the Atlantean culture. Homo sapiens in the First Civilization had achieved a Kardashev level of -1, though in the actual centers of civilization, cultures approached the Kardashev 0 level. Astrologers associate the First Civilization with the astrological Age of Aries.

The First Civilization ended with an eruption of the Thera volcano around 20,000 BC, which obliterated the Atlantean culture.

The Second Civilization, which emerged after the first dark age, was marked by the dominance of the fourth order of consciousness and a more widespread appearance of true civilization, the defining achievement of which was the development of nation-states at the Kardashev 0 level. This period of civilization is regarded as having begun with the unification of the Nile River valley under Pharaonic Egypt, and it ended with the conclusion of World War V in 2101. Astrologers associate the Second Civilization with the astrological Age of Pisces. The beginning of the Third Civilization is usually dated to the founding of the American Theocracy in 2278. The majority of this period was characterized by multiple attempts at uniting the entire planet Earth by force under a single government, an ancient ambition which was finally achieved by the Congolese Dominion in the early Seventh millennium. The Third Civilization saw the attainment of the Kardashev I level, the rapid colonization of the Sol system, human expansion into interstellar space, and the widespread appearance of the fifth order of consciousness in Homo sapiens. The Third Civilization is associated with the astrological Age of Aquarius. This period of civilization was ended in 6556 by a series of severe coronal mass ejections.

The Fourth Civilization began in 6733 as Martian forces landed on Earth for the first time in nearly two centuries. During the Fourth Civilization, the entire Sol system was unified under a single government, the Kardashev II level was reached, interstellar migration became common, time travel was invented, the sixth order of consciousness became dominant, and Homo sapiens developed into Homo novus. The primary challenge to civilization during this period is the time travel war between Homo novus and the Grey collective. The Fourth Civilization is typically supposed to coincide with the astrological Age of Capricorn. This civilization continues to the present day.

It is generally assumed that the Fourth Civilization will eventually collapse, making way for a “Fifth Civilization” period, which may be expected to involve the unification of the entire Milky Way galaxy under one government, the achievement of the Kardashev III level, the beginning of intergalactic colonization, and the dominance of the seventh order of consciousness. Still more civilizational periods would eventually follow.
