Alien Invasion?

I recently was asked to answer the following question over at Quora, "Humanity unites to defeat an alien invasion. How long does global peace last once the threat is dealt with?"

So I answered:

If humanity were invaded by alien invasion the global peace that would follow would be for eternity. Alas, humanity will have realized they are one race, the human race, but more importantly they will have defeated the alien. An alien invasion is exactly what we are leading up to, we sense this through the increased wars, larger disease breakouts, mass debt and worldly social unrest, and things don't seem to be getting any better, notice? That is because we are building to a crescendo until alas the alien force shows itself. Ah but the Alien has shown itself. The alien is the hellish, hateful, the violent, the wicked, the demoniac's, the diabolic, the unhallowed, and in the possessed. These, these things are the Aliens. And it is these Aliens who have invaded us, and it is they who keep us separated. It is they who keep us from our true grace.

I can't wait until the rest of the world begins to see that this so called, "Alien Invasion" has already begun. Our enemy is here, our enemy is alive, and our enemy is hard at work in its efforts to hold us back, to keep us separated. To keep us from becoming all that which we were meant to be. A collective; One Race. The Human Race.

A race that by now, should know their collective Power of Love.
