Alex Jones Gets Banned & What You're Missing

Alex Jones was just banned from all major social and media platforms this week. Although many of these platforms are run by completely different companies there was obvious collusion by some very powerful people. Although there’s a ton of videos on this topic I believe Conservative commentators, and even libertarians, are missing a couple key points. Namely around the call to make the internet a public utility.

At the same time, many on the so-called Left are celebrating the banning of Jones because of Jones’ obviously controversial personality and content. They’re (uncharacteristically) defending these private enterprises' right to police free speech on their platforms and remove anyone who violates “Community Guidelines” as they say Jones has. These arguments are also missing some key points.
