Let Me Be Blunt, Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: Our Right To Keep & Bear Arms Is Not Up For Debate

This week, besides the news of Representative Maxine Waters inciting people to harassment and violence, the news was focused on self-professed Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a woman half my age and obviously without half the historical understanding of what it is she is promoting. On Thursday, following the mass shooting in Maryland at the Capital Gazette, she tweeted out that there have been 195 mass shootings in the US in 2018, which is rather questionable. However, the point is that she is tweeting this because she is an anti-Second Amendment advocate, just like the vast majority of Democrats and even several Republicans are. So, Ms. Cortez, this column is for you and those like you who fail to understand that a right is God-given, and not to be regulated or restricted by government.

Let me say at the outset that Ms. Cortez has overcome quite a bit growing up where she did and making something of herself, but that does not mean she is right just because of that.

First, every Socialist I've ever known has positioned themselves as a pro-gun confiscator. Ms. Cortez is a self-professed Socialist and not just a socialist, but a national socialist... for those who don't know what that really means, we know it as NAZI (National Socialists).

Take a listen.

"I believe that in a modern, moral, and wealthy society, no person in America should be too poor to live," she explained on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. "What that means to me is health care as a human right, it means that every child no matter where you are born should have access to a college or trade-school education if they so choose it. I think that no person should be homeless if we have public structures or public policy to allow for people to have homes and food and lead a dignified life in the United States."

Clearly, she is a child of the public indoctrination centers in the Bronx. If one is willing to steal from you to advance their agenda, they are willing to kill you too.

Health care is not a right, neither is education, nor is it that right of government to steal from the people in order to provide for someone else. She does not follow the God of the Bible nor the Creator mentioned by our Founders in the Declaration of Independence, who gave us our rights.

She espouses feel-good phrases, but rights are nothing more than liberties or authorities which government is not allowed to touch. Thus, things like education, housing and healthcare are not things government is to be involved in. Yet, every one of these things, she wants to use the long arm of government to not only touch but to steal from other citizens in order to make them effective.

This leads me to the Second Amendment, which was written to protect the rights of the people to keep and bear arms so they might fulfill their duty before God and man to ensure a free state and protect life.

Cortez tweeted out after the mass shooting at the Capital Gazette, "Horrifying. This is our nation’s 195th mass shooting - this year."

Breitbart's Awr Hawkins points out:

So Ocasio-Cortez is claiming 195 mass shooting in the first six months of this year, and if the same kind of math applies to the next six months, that will mean a claim of 390 mass shootings for the year. The left made similar claims in 2015, suggesting 355 mass shootings for the year. The figure was so far removed from reality that Mother Jones editor Mark Follman stepped in to correct the record.

Writing in The New York Times, he said:

At Mother Jones, where I work as an editor, we have complied an in-depth open-source database covering more than three decades of public mass shootings. By our measure, there have been four “mass shootings” this year, including the one in San Bernardino, and at least 73 such attacks since 1982.

Follman showed the claim of 355 mass shootings was about 351 incidents too high. The actual number of mass shootings for 2015 was four.

CNN has taken the lead on presenting inflated numbers on school shootings. Following the February 14, 2018, Parkland school attack, they claimed one school shooting “on average” every week. They made the same claim following the May 18, 2018, shooting at Santa Fe High School, but their claim included BB gun incidents and accidental discharges.

The heinous attack on Capital Gazette headquarters in Annapolis was a mass shooting, but it was simply nowhere close to the 195th such shooting this year.
OK, so either Ms. Cortez is ignorant or lying, one or the other, but just to recount, I've been over this earlier this year with US Senator Chris Murphy, who claims to "support the real Second Amendment, not the imaginary Second Amendment." When Murphy claimed that Congress was "are responsible for a level of mass atrocity that happens in this country with zero parallel to anywhere else," he forgot to include not only his support of the American holocaust known as abortion, but also the multitude of school shootings around the world that have had far deadlier consequences than anything America has seen thus far. I went on to point out examples such as the Belsan School siege in Russia that killed over 300 and injured over 800 and the school shooting at the hands of government that resulted in over 2,000 men, women, and children being slaughtered in Chile at the turn of the twentieth century.

In either case, let me make clear that just because people abuse the right to keep and bear arms to commit crimes makes the Second Amendment no more irrelevant than when Maxine Waters, under the guise of free speech and assumed protections of the First Amendment, incited people to violence against other citizens simply because of who they are affiliated with politically.

In a previous piece I wrote on the right to keep and bear arms, I reference a talk I highly recommend that people hear from our very own Publius Huldah. I wrote:

God is the giver of men’s rights, according to the Declaration of Independence, and the right to defend one’s self and one’s family is not only a right, but it is a duty and responsibility before God, according to the Bible which is a demonstration of our love for others. Therefore, she rightly pointed out that the Second Amendment is not the source of our right. It merely recognizes that the right is to be free from any interference whatsoever to defend ourselves, our families and our communities from attack. “This understanding is as old as human history,” she says.

The Framers of the Constitution understood that arms are the only defense against a Federal government that would seek to overstep its bounds. James Madison, writing in Federalist Paper No. 46, said that the reason the Citizens – the Militia – are armed is to defend ourselves, our families, our neighborhoods, communities, and States from an overreaching, tyrannical federal government.

Here are a couple of things indicate that the Framers of the Constitution understood this idea:

1. Militia – armed citizens – Second Amendment
2. Letters of Marque and reprisal – Article 1, Section 8, Clause 11 – This gives authority to Congress to authorize privately owned armed ships to make war on the enemies of the United States. An example of such was during the administration of Thomas Jefferson, where a ship was commissioned to make war on the Barbary pirates via a letter of Marque and reprisal from Congress. Also Congress did the same thing against the British.

In other words, the Framers had no problem with the citizens being as heavily armed as the country’s military. “That is because they did not see themselves as our rulers,” Huldah adds.

Article 1, Section 8, Clause 16 gives Congress the authority to demand that able bodied males be armed. It reads:

“To provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining, the Militia, and for governing such Part of them as may be employed in the Service of the United States, reserving to the States respectively, the Appointment of the Officers, and the Authority of training the Militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress.”

In 1792, Congress passed “An Act more effectually to provide for the National Defense by establishing an Uniform Militia throughout the United States.” This Act required all able-bodied male citizens (except for federal officers and employees) between the ages of 18 and under 45 to enroll in their State Militia, get a gun and ammunition, and train.

Publius Huldah then reminds us that the leading cause of death in the 20th Century was Democide – Death by Government. She ran the list of Soviet run Russia, Communist China, Nazi Germany, Cuba, Cambodia, and North Korea. She pointed out that Communist, Fascist and Islamic dictatorships murdered their own people by the tens of millions. “And do not think that isn’t coming this way,” she warned.

UNIVERSAL REGISTRATION LEADS TO CONFISCATION. CONFISCATION LEADS TO EXTERMINATION. IT ALWAYS HAS. WHY DO YOU THINK THEY ARE SO “HELL BENT ON DISARMING US?”

James Madison was clear in Federalist 46 that the citizenry being armed is to fight the Federal government’s tyranny.

“LET’S HAVE NO MORE TALK OF ‘REASONABLE RESTRICTIONS’ AND BACKGROUND CHECKS IMPOSED BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT,” HULDAH DECLARED.

All Federal government gun and ammunition laws should be nullified, ignored and rendered toothless by the people of the States.

Publius Huldah then reference this essay, “The Coming Day of Burn Barrels and Blessings” in which James Wesley Rawles says:

IF CONGRESS EVER ENACTS A LAW MANDATING THE REGISTRATION AND/OR A PRODUCTION BAN OF DETACHABLE MAGAZINE SEMIAUTOMATIC RIFLES THEN YOU ARE HEREBY INVITED TO THE TOWN SQUARE OF YOUR LOCAL COMMUNITY. THERE, BURN BARRELS WILL BE SET UP AND WE WILL PUBLICLY BURN FORM 4473S, FFL BOUND BOOKS, STATE AND LOCAL REGISTRATION RECORDS, AND THE SALES RECEIPTS FOR EVERY FIREARM IN THE UNITED STATES. ON THAT SAME DAY, FFL HOLDERS AND PUBLIC OFFICIALS HOLDING ELECTRONIC FIREARMS RECORDS WILL SIMULTANEOUSLY ERASE THOSE RECORDS, PERMANENTLY AND IRRETRIEVABLY.

Rawles indicates that the use of masks to hide identities would be proper and to cover dealers, they could claim that masked men with guns forced them to do what they did. Simply brilliant!

Huldah then addressed all State and County officers. She called upon them to support their oath, which is to support and defend the U.S. Constitution, according to Article 6, Clause 3. When as a representative of the people you acquiesce to Federal government gun laws of the you are not supporting or defending the Constitution, but rather you are conniving with tyrants against your own people.

“And if you connive with tyrants against your own people so that you can keep your Federal funding, then shame on you for becoming so corrupt that you allow yourself to be bribed with money that your grandchildren will have to pay back,” Huldah resounded.

She also called upon cowardly representatives who have become corrupt to resign their office and let manly men take their place.
I say this to Ms. Cortez, as well as any other Communist gun confiscator in any government who would seek to take the guns from law-abiding American citizens, I don't seek the harm of anyone. I will never hunt down my political opposition, but should you choose to engage in lawless behavior where I, and those like me, are forced to turn over our arms or submit to your tyranny, you will have a rude awakening and so with the pawns you send to come and take them.

America was designed to be a country in which people honored and worshipped God. That included protecting them from tyrants like Ms. Cortez and others. Our founding fathers established a land hundreds of years ago in which they wrote that had "undertaken for the Glory of God, and Advancement of the Christian Faith," established a colony in the New World.

I'm not about to let some hot shot 20-something out of the Bronx take that away from me. How about you, America?

So, should you actually gain political office, know this: You have a hundred million Americans who oppose your ideology and if you think you can legislate our rights away without opposition, think again.
