CHEERS!
Sometimes things
can overwhelm
and we need
a little
pop
something to
help us
get over the
top
something we
can feel
that deep familiar
burn
sliding down
our throat
warming up
the spirit in
turn
taking off
the chill
of the
soon forgotten
day
just a few
more hours
before drunkenly we
lay
tipping back
the glass
its feeling
in your
hand
drinking to night
that is
sure to be
grand
inhaling
the aroma
that deep
and savory
scent
indulging in
the moment
down the hatch it
went
soaking in
the alcohol
replacing all our
fears
toasting to
its lure
I think I'll have
one more
CHEERS!
