The Ophelia Cocktail
AN ORIGINAL DRINK RECIPE by Celinka Serre (www.binkyproductions.com/alcohol)
The very first drink I invented after taking a bartending class. Cocktail creation has become a fun pass time of mine. Nowadays, I can pretty much think about the flavours and colours for a little bit and come up with a recipe and nail it, whereas back then, I had a few tests that were strange at times. This is the final and perfected version of the drink.
– 1/2 oz White Rum
– 1/2 oz Peach Schnapps
– 1/2 oz Blue Curaçao
– Red Cranberry juice
(serves 1)
In a shaker, place ice as wanted. Pour in White Rum, Peach Schnapps and Blue Curaçao. Fill with Red Cranberry juice as desired. Shake well. Serve in cocktail glass. Should give a purple/black hue, sometimes bluer depending on proportion of juice versus Blue Cruaçao.
