SEC championship for the championship

Alabama's crimson Tide vs the university of Georgia's bulldogs. Alabama's dominance over the past decade has been rough on me and most vol fan being from Tennessee we bleed orange and hate seeing either red coming our way. Be that the crimson red of the tide or the bulldawgs bull red that has turned many many stadiums Georgia red as they pretty much dominated everyone they come in contact with this season. With their second year coach Kirby smart whom just a few seasons ago was just on the other side of the Georgia Alabama border coaching as Nick Saban's assistant. Seems as though just as Nick Saban's is breading NFL players he is also breeding future coach's and Kirby Smart in just two short years could be among the best of Saban's protiges. After a stellar season with only one loss to a very good Auburn team. Then cleaning Auburn's clock in the sec championship game. In a game almost everyone had them written off in after getting their you know what's handed to them by Auburn just weeks before. Followed a few weeks later by Auburn handily beating Alabama in what looked to me like Alabama's worst beating in years. Then the playoffs in which Alabama's beat their arch nemesis of the past few years at least Clemson in a very good playoff game to a very good Clemson tigers team that many expected to go to Clemson after the beating that Auburn laid on them just a few weeks earlier.the same night which Georgia pulled off an unbelievable double over time win against the Oklahoma Sooners lead by their hiesman trophy winning qb. They come out ready to play and was up on the bulldogs 31-14 before Georgia turned things around and forced overtime then double overtime. Before pulling off arguably one of the best come backs in college playoffs short history. Which set up the oh so dreaded SEC championship national title as I like to reference it. Which is one of the big reasons they started the playoff season in the first place to prevent two teams from the same conference from meeting in the national title game. In a year that at any given time there was five or six sec teams in the top ten at all times and more in the top 25. It has become hard to argue that the SEC conference isn't the best in college football. Alabama and Georgia didn't face off during the regular season but it became very apparent early on who two of the top playoff teams was gonna be. As many anticipated a possible meeting in the sec championship or the playoffs. I think few would've believed that these two power houses would have ever ended up meeting for the winner take all nation title. The anticipation is almost over the blood sweat and tears are all but threw. These boys especially the seniors will strap on their helmets one last time this season some for their last time playing for their beloved schools and smash off in what will be a hard hitting smash mouth high flying ground pounding offensive and defensive grudge match that we've all come to expect from these two head bangers. Now just a few days away from what is possible one of the SEC s most anticipated national title games in a long time if not ever. In saying so I wish both teams the best of luck pray for everyone's safety and look forwards to a very hard fought battle. In which I'm sure all us SEC fans or other will enjoy.
