How to pick the right tackticle vest and what to add to it

in #airsoft7 years ago

When it comes to choosing the right vest for you and what to add to the vest all depends on what type of gun you are using and what type of player you are.

To decide what player you are depends on how much you run and what position you play.

CQB

If you have a CQB gun and you run around a lot then a vest would just get into the way so a belt with a pistol holder and mag pouches would be the best load-out because it is out of the way and light weight.

Assault

If you have an assault rifle then an assault tactical vest is the right vest. In an assault position you will be running around but not as much as a CQB runner. A vest that goes around your waist and goes around your neck and does not have a chest rig is an assault vest.

DMR

DMR load-out. As a DMR a normal chest rig with a few mag pouches and a pistol holster is all that you need because you are not running around as much and you will be taking much longer range shoots because you are required to have a 2X scope or more so running to the middle of the map wont be what you will be doing.

Sniper

A sniper load-out is not a full vest. It is similar to a CQB load-out because as a sniper you need to be lying on the floor and run a lot in certain situations but mainly a belt will be for a few pistol mags ( As it is also a requirement to have a pistol as a sniper) and you can carry an extra sniper mag on the side of your stock.

Thanks for reading and I hope this post helped you decide on what load-out to buy and made you not make a wrong decision.
