8 injured after the plane clips a truck in LA airport

Another mishap occurred at the Los Angeles International Airport on Saturday, May 20, 2017, when an Aeromexico aircraft was taxiing towards the exit gate collided with a service truck, making the truck to topple over.
The Aeromexico Boeing 737 Airliner had just landed and was moving towards an exit gate. The right wing of the airliner hit the service truck and acted as a hook, lifting rear-end of the truck, which was carrying many personnel. The truck toppled over, injuring at least eight people. The fire department at the airport immediately rushed to the scene. Two people were seriously injured and six had minor injuries. The flight took off from Mexico City, had just landed at Los Angeles International Airport in the afternoon, and was carrying 149 people, including passengers and crewmembers. There were no reported injuries for passengers aboard the Aeromexico flight.
The truck was an active vehicle on duty and belonged to G2 Secure Staff, a company providing airport related services across the States. The plane’s wing suffered damage after the collision.
