The air transportation has been one of man's greatest inovation which had altered the course of history for good. Paying for lounge areas are very expensive and not accessible to transit passengers.

Another provision available for passengers who have to spend long hours at the airport terminals is booking an hotel. Hotels may not be suitable for passengers because most passengers may not be spending the night, this is also cost effective. The process of checking and checking out might be taking a lot of time for passengers whose flight is in minutes time. Also the distance of nearby hotels to boarding gates are usually very long. Thus for these reasons passengers prefer to sleep on the terminal floors or terminal chairs. It is important to note that though passengers choose to sleep on terminal floors and chairs, there is no privacy for these areas are always busy. There is also need for passengers in this scenario to keep an eye on their luggage.

There are companies who noticed this and provided sleeping pods for passengers but many of the users of these sleeping pods complain that the sleeping pods are too small, dark on the inside and looks like a cofin (nobody wants to sleep in a cofin).
