Police discover 30 bullets in American Airlines crew bag at Narita airport Tokyo Japan
Airport police in Tokyo discovered 30 bullets in an American Airlines crew member's carry-on bag and have said that the flight attendant apparently carried them through all security checks at U.S. airports.
Police at Tokyo's Narita airport seized the bullets after finding them Saturday during security check prior to the man boarding his duty flight back to the U.S.A.
Airport police official Masatoshi Ito said Wednesday that the American Airlines crew member — identified only as a male U.S. citizen in his 50s — told police he forgot to leave the bullets before boarding the Tokyo-bound flight. Keeping bullets in carry-on bagage during a flight is illegal under U.S. law.
Police released the man Saturday as they believe that he posed no danger of destroying evidence. Police are still investigating how the bullets were undetected when he arrived at Narita Airport in Tokyo.
This really begs the question, why is the USA so afraid of Laptops on direct flights from certain countries… It is clear that security is insufficient when scanning people EXITING from WITHIN the USA.
How many more times has this occurred?

Wow a us crew member got through airport security with bullets in his carry on....
Really makes us question all the BS about foreigners bringing in laptops or large phones when someone IN America physically inside US borders is carrying live ammunition in a carry on bag and it gets through so called security screening and is on an international flight to Tokyo complete with all 30 bullets in his bag.
