Wordings Of The Soul
As years passed
She saw it in her
Weak and feeble
Scrawny and rickety
With folds and scars
Of life's troubles
Behold the men's hunger
Now children's detest
The Maiden's envy
Now neighbors mockery
The King's delight
Now servants disgust
Who would have ever thought
She would be like this
Now an old school
So they say
But how time flies
For once she was full of life
Beauty and laughter
And now all that seems to fly too
Oh where are you?
How I miss your presence
You never know the value of something until you lose it
It's been years since you left
But I will never forget
The way you blessed me
And memories is all I have left
But I believe Old clothes still cover!
