A Space Between Us
These words are folded paper boats
Seeking the sea, fleeing my lips to you.
They will surely sink, i know but i hope
It reaches , though wet like kisses, you
And clings to your heart like sweet scents.
I am trying to point our path,
But there are whispering in the dew
And the moon is stretched across the void
That divides you and i;
Painting our parallel paths in silver light.
I will fall, as i try to merge with you, i know
But i hope i fall into your tender arms
With the currents of your heart guiding
My weary limbs to parts of you that are true.
poetry is the expression of the heart, not everyone can put together beautiful words.
